Dedicated to all who identify with #metoo. The water meanders and falls as it goes through forests and sunrises and moonlit nights. The three female portraits (clockwise from top) represent shame, fear, and pain. The wise owl of the night is a witness and a comforting symbol that holds the truth of all the stories. The waters combine and end up in a vast pool of clarity and communal healing.
As always, virtual images and various monitors do not do justice to the depth and vibrancy of the actual painting. All my paintings are varnished, and all sides painted (if not already framed).
