This magical deer with a heart of gold is a real show-stopper. So many layers of words and symbols of love, she is wondering why we don’t always see deer this way! This is a fantasy piece, a vibrant painting with so much depth. When people see her, they gasp, “Oh!,” and so that is where the title came from.
As always, virtual images and various monitors do not do justice to the depth and vibrancy of the actual painting. All my paintings are varnished, and all sides painted (if not already framed).
