A dreamy mountain lake, with a buck hidden in the thick of the forest. Is that rain over the lake, with the sun peeking through? I paint the colors as I see them, not as what makes rational sense. It’s all about the mood, the emotion.
As always, virtual images and various monitors do not do justice to the depth and vibrancy of the actual painting. All my paintings are varnished, and all sides painted (if not already framed).
