I’m so thrilled to be able to share this link with you! For those of you who weren’t able to attend last summer’s inaugural Brave Girl Symposium (and for those of you who were there), and for those of you who are interested in our homeless fellow humans and want to hear about my journey with teaching Soul Restoration, here is my talk: Lisa Palmer, Symposium 2016
This was a watershed moment for me. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to tell my story and shine a light on homelessness and our attitudes toward our fellow humans who are suffering all around us. And the response was overwhelming!!! So many people were touched and awoken to this, and heeded the call and started being more intentional about helping the homeless in their communities. The snowball effect! It’s real!!!! It solidified the path I am now on, to re-frame the conversation and dispel the lies and myths about what it means to be homeless in our society, and what we can do about it.
Brave Girls Club is gearing up for some big announcements for this year’s Symposium in July! They are planning for another group of amazing speakers and entertainment and connecting and creativity and fun and shopping and art and and and……….AND in the next few weeks I will have some big exciting news about what I’m preparing for it, with regards to training people to share the messages of Soul Restoration with the homeless!!! I am beyond excited!!!!!
